Luminoso now available!

Hello Friends,
after a few years in the making Luminoso is available today!
I am so proud of the entire team that brought the songs of Brazilian luminary Joyce Moreno to this instrumental incarnation.
This collaborative project was started by longtime friend, Jeff Volkman. Jeff and I last performed together in 1981 when we were members of the Shorecrest High School jazz ensemble in Seattle Washington. 40 plus years later he contacted me to play sax on a Brazilian jazz project where he had adapted the compositions of Brazilian composer, vocalists, guitarist, Joyce Moreno, for saxophones and flutes. I jumped at the chance, because the music was so beautiful and unique. After we had recorded a few songs Jeff suggested we make this collaboration into my next CD release. And that’s how Luminoso was born!
Many thanks to Brazilian musicians Mauricio Zottarelli and Marcus Teixeira for adding their authentic feel along with longtime bandmates Melvin Lee Davis, Allen Hinds and Dave Hooper. Young talent Henry Smith-Hunt added melodic support on this special project as well.
Luminoso features:
